The JP-4MED master station features a 7-inch TFT colour touchscreen LCD and supports both hands-free communication and private handset communication. Users can monitor the entrance, communicate with visitors and operate a compatible door release directly from the indoor station.

Built-in picture memory can record up to 20 calls with 6 images per call, with up to 5 calls protected against overwriting. For applications requiring greater recording capacity, an SD/SDHC memory card can expand storage to up to 1,000 calls with 40 images per call, with up to 100 calls protected from overwriting. Memory card is not included.

The included JP-DA surface-mount door station incorporates a wide-angle camera providing approximately 100° vertical × 170° horizontal viewing, along with digital pan, tilt and zoom control from the master station. LED illumination assists camera operation in low-light conditions.
