Sensor Data Fusion Technology:
The sensor data fusion technology employs an advanced software algorithm, consolidating signals from five distinct sensors: two pyroelectric sensors, range adaptive radar, a room temperature sensor, and a white light level sensor. These signals undergo analysis and comparison by the microcontroller to make astute alarm decisions, setting new benchmarks in the security domain.
Tri-Focus Optics Technology:
This innovative technology integrates optics with three distinct focal lengths, catering to long-range, middle-range, and short-range coverage. By employing 86 detection zones and 11 solid curtains of detection, this system combines two pyroelectric sensors, providing double the standard optical gain. These sensors process multiple signals to ensure precise performance, significantly minimizing false alarms.
Range Adaptive Radar:
The microwave transceiver automatically adjusts its detection thresholds based on input from the PIR sensors, notably reducing false alarms originating from the microwave Doppler radar.
Microwave Anti-Mask:
Should microwave reflective material be placed within 30.5 cm (1 ft) of the detector, it promptly triggers a supervision-trouble signal.
Supervised Microwave and PIR:
This detector ensures single technology coverage in case of a microwave subsystem failure.
Active White Light Suppression:
An internal light sensor gauges the intensity of light directed at the detector's face. Utilizing this data, the sensor fusion technology eliminates false alarms arising from bright light sources.
Field Selectable Coverage (18 m x 25 m or 8 m x 10 m):
Installers can effortlessly toggle between 18 m x 25 m or 8 m x 10 m (60 ft x 80 ft or 25 ft x 33 ft) coverage using a DIP switch.
Dynamic Temperature Compensation:
Automatically adjusting PIR sensitivity ensures accurate detection of human intruders across critical temperatures. This compensation reliably detects human body heat while averting false alarms across varying operating temperatures.
Cover and Wall Tamper Switch:
Any attempt to remove the cover or separate the detector from the wall activates a normally-closed contact, alerting the control panel.
Self-Adjusting LED:
The LED brightness adapts to surrounding light levels, indicating dual alarms during a walk test with a blue LED. A yellow LED signifies microwave detection, while a red LED indicates PIR detection.
Remote Walk Test LED:
Through a keypad, control center, or programming software, users can remotely enable or disable the walk test LED. Alternatively, local enabling or disabling of the walk test LED can be accomplished through the DIP switch.
Alarm Memory:
Stored alarms flash the alarm LED, facilitating multiple unit applications. A switched voltage from the control panel regulates the alarm memory.
Solid State Relays:
These relays quietly transmit alarm output signals, offering heightened security and reliability. An external magnet doesn't activate the relay, and its lower current consumption provides extended standby capacity during power loss.
Draft, Insect, and Small Animal Immunity:
The sealed optic chamber confers immunity to drafts and insects, effectively reducing false alarms. Additionally, small animal immunity mitigates alarms triggered by animals less than 4.5 kg (10 lb), like rodents.
Remote Self-Test:
Upon a true state switch of the walk test input, a remote self-test initiates, activating the alarm relay and LED for four seconds upon a successful test. A failed test triggers the trouble relay activation, with the alarm LED flashing.
Input Power Supervision:
An activated trouble relay and flashing LED denote a low input power trouble condition when the power falls below 8 V. This trouble condition automatically clears when power exceeds or reaches 8 V.
Trouble Memory:
For less than two seconds, a switched walk test input triggers the LED to flash, indicating the latest trouble condition. The LED halts flashing if no trouble is in memory, automatically clearing after twelve hours or with a second walk test pulse of two seconds or less.
Cloak and Camouflage Detection Technology:
This technology enhances catch performance against intruders attempting to conceal their infrared signals, ensuring an added layer of security.
