The Ness Radio Interface should be installed outside the control panel to prevent interference from the control panel's electronics. If installation inside a metal enclosure is necessary, ensure the antenna wire protrudes outside the enclosure.

When improved radio reception is needed, the Radio Interface can be installed up to 50 meters away from the control panel. Use 14/0.20 SHIELDED cable or equivalent. The shield can be connected to the EARTH connection or left unconnected, but leave the shield unconnected at the receiver end.

For optimal performance, keep the antenna wire straight and avoid coiling, shortening, or extending it. An optional external antenna (100-046) is available for use in areas with marginal radio signal strength.
