Shipping Policy of CCTV Importers
This Shipping Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made on www.cctvimporters.com.au and provides details on shipping procedures, rates, and delivery expectations.
1. Shipping Coverage
1.1. Domestic Shipping:
We offer shipping to all locations within Australia, including Tasmania, and New Zealand.
1.2. Free Shipping:
We offer free shipping Australia-wide on all orders over $500 AUD, except for large and heavy items such as cabinets, racks, Cable reels and bollards. For these items, the shipping cost will be calculated and shown at checkout.
1.3. Flat Rate Shipping:
For orders under $500 AUD, a flat rate of $12 applies across Australia, excluding heavy and large items, which will incur a specific shipping cost displayed at checkout.
2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times
2.1. Australia Post:
All orders are shipped via Australia Post, which we have found to be the most efficient and reliable method of delivery.
2.1.1 Alternative Shipping Carriers – We may use other shipping carriers such as CouriersPlease, Aramex, or similar services, depending on the size of the product and the delivery location.
2.2. Delivery Timeframes:
- Australia: Delivery typically takes 3-5 business days, including Tasmania.
- New Zealand: Delivery usually takes 10-15 business days.
- Express Shipping (Australia) – Delivery timeframes for express shipping are based on the standard delivery estimates provided by Australia Post.
2.3. Processing Times:
We process and dispatch orders Monday to Friday. Orders are typically shipped within 24 hours of placement, excluding weekends and public holidays. Some special items may take more than 24 hours if they are on backorder.
3. Tracking and Delivery
3.1. Order Tracking:
Once your order is packed and dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive an email with a tracking number. This tracking number can be used to monitor the progress of your parcel through the Australia Post tracking system.
3.2. Delivery Instructions:
If you are not at home at the time of delivery, and the driver deems it safe, the parcel may be left in a secure location. If it is unsafe to leave the parcel, or if the parcel is too large, a card will be left with instructions for collecting your parcel from the nearest Australia Post depot.
4. Shipping for Large and Heavy Items
4.1. Large and Heavy Items:
For items like cabinets, racks, bollards, and Cable reels, free shipping does not apply, and the shipping cost will be calculated based on the size and weight of the item. These costs will be displayed on the checkout page before finalizing your purchase.
5. Shipping to New Zealand
5.1. New Zealand Shipping:
Shipping to New Zealand typically takes 10-15 business days. Shipping rates for New Zealand orders will be calculated during checkout based on the destination and size of the order.
6. Shipping Issues and Lost Packages
6.1. Delayed Deliveries:
If your order does not arrive within the estimated delivery time, please contact us at sales@cctvimporters.com.au for assistance. We will work with Australia Post to investigate any delays.
6.2. Lost or Damaged Packages:
In the event your package is lost or arrives damaged, please notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
