The TAKEX PS-530E White Request-to-Exit PIR Detector is a compact professional REX sensor designed for access control, electric door strike release and automatic door applications. Featuring passive infrared detection, up to 4.5m mounting height, adjustable detection coverage, four sensitivity settings, selectable output hold times and screwless terminals, the PS-530E provides reliable hands-free request-to-exit operation for commercial and security installations.
Designed as the next generation of TAKEX's request-to-exit sensors, the PS-530E uses a custom-designed lens with strong ambient-light immunity. It detects approaching individuals and provides a relay signal to the connected access control or door locking system.
Its detection area can be adjusted vertically through 30° across seven steps, allowing installers to tailor coverage according to mounting position and application. Four sensitivity levels—Low, Middle, High and Ex-High—provide additional installation flexibility.
The PS-530E supports wall, ceiling, on-frame and under-frame indoor mounting, with no need to change the sensor orientation between wall and ceiling installations.
For access control integration, the detector incorporates two Form C / dry-contact relay outputs with selectable fail-safe or fail-secure operation. Output hold time can be configured from approximately 0.5 to 64 seconds.
Push-fit screwless terminals simplify installation and wiring, while a tamper-resistant cover locking screw, selectable LED indication, retrigger mode and area masking capability provide additional flexibility for professional installations.
